A medium to large-sized, evergreen tree, up to 20 m in height with pale grey, dark brown or black bark having boat-shaped fissures and milky exudate, broadly elliptic-oblong or obovate leaves, marble-white, fragrant, polygamous flowers, in few-flowered, lax, axillary racemes, light yellow, pulpy drupes containing hard, globular seeds. |
