Description

A deciduous, medium sized tree that looks very beautiful in full bloom, with smooth, yellowish-brown bark, reddish inside, 20-40 cm long leaves, oblong or oblong-ovate, acuminate leaflets with obtuse or rounded base, 4-6 pairs, bright yellow flowers in long drooping racemes and oblong, woody, terete, cylindrical pods containing many light brown, hard, smooth, shiny, biconcave seeds embedded in sweetish pulp.
