Description

Sub-deciduous large shrubs, with grey bark, broadly elliptic or obliquely cordate leaves, orange-red, axillary flowers, solitary or in clusters, turning blue when old, greenish-brown, beaked, cylindrical, spirally twisted follicles with many small, angular, wrinkled, tomentose, black seeds.
