Description
An aquatic herb with short, sub-erect spongy root-stocks found in paddy fields, margins of ponds or tanks, swamps and marshy places with linear to ovate and ovate-cordate or sub-reniform, long petioled leaves, blue flowers with red spots, in sub-spicate racemes and ellipsoid capsules.
