Description
An erect, succulent, highly aromatic herb, with hispidly villous fleshy stem, broadly ovate, thick and fleshy leaves, small purple flowers, in dense whorls at distant intervals in long slender racemes and fruit of 4 orbicular or ovoid, smooth nutlets.
