| A diffuse herb, rooting at lower nodes, with ovate leaves, sub-globose, axillary and terminal, yellow rayed heads with 8-12 ray-florets, female and bisexual disc-florets becoming conical and containing black, oblong, laterally compressed achenes with pappus hairs. | ||||||
