Screening and Evaluation of Germplasm based on detailed macro-, micro-morphological and anatomical studies have resulted in the identification of morphotypes in the following species.

Detailed phytochemical studies done in Adhatoda zeylanica led to the identification of CMPR-1 elite line (AZ4) with higher vasicine content (2.57 % w/w). Multi Locational field Trials (MLTs) are progressing and the proposed new variety will be released for cultivation. Studies are progressing in the variants of other species |
